Fiumicino 2025 tourist tax: increases to €4.50 from 8 March: calculate now how much to pay

As of8 March 2025, the Municipality of Fiumicino has decided to temporarily increase the tourist tax on the occasion of the Jubilee Year. This increase, valid until 31 December 2025, aims to improve tourist services and reception for the many visitors expected during this special period.

Details on the tourist tax increase

For establishments such as room rentals, bed & breakfasts, country houses, agritourisms and short lets, the tax will increase from 1.50 euro to 4.50 euro per night per person. The new rates will be applied for each overnight stay on municipal territory.

Tourism Councillor Federica Poggio said that the increased revenue from the tax will be reinvested in improving tourist services, helping to make the city even more competitive and welcoming to visitors.
